Kenneth E. Hogan, 73, formerly of Malta, IL; passed away on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008 at Shabbona Health Care Nursing Home after a long illness. He was born on Jan. 7, 1935 in Corning, AR, to William and Vivian (Short) Hogan. Ken married Della M. Wierschke on March 29, 1955 in Sycamore, IL and she preceded him on May 27, 1997. Also preceded by his parents; a daughter Rose Mary Hogan and son Christopher Hogan. Prior to retiring in 1988, he was employed by Caron Int.

Survivors include: his daughter: Susan (Terry) Stinnett of Ashton and the lights of his life: Granddaughter Hope (Doug) Montavon of Davis Junction and grandson: Kevin Stinnett of Ashton, and 3 great grandchildren: Savannah Stinnett and Clare and Cole Montavon; and his daughter-in-law: Jean Hogan of Iron Mountain, MI

Graveside services will be held at the Polar Cemetery in Polar, WI on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008 at 3:00 PM. Arrangements by Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle, IL.
