Kenneth "Sport" Watson, 68 of Rochelle, passed away on Wed. July 28, 2009 at his home.
He was born on Oct. 1, 1940 in Parkin, AR , the son of Lee and Helen (Young) Watson.
He married Eleanor Jeanette Bunger on Nov. 17, 1964. He was previously employed in construction by Local Labor Union #727.
Survivors include wife: Eleanor of Rochelle; son: David (Tammy) Watson of Dixon, IL
3 step children; Pat (Gary) Coons of Rochelle; Jim (Kathy) Watson of Dixon, IL, and
Larry (Sharon) Watson of Rochelle; brother: Lawrence Watson of Rochelle; sister: Dorothy
(Gary) Leininger of Rochelle, IL; Grandchildren: Carly, Adam and Maddie Watson and
7 step grandchildren, many step great grandchildren.
Cremation rites were arranged by Unger-Horner Funeral Home. A memorial service will be
held at a later date at the family home. In Lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
