Kenneth C. Withrow, 70 of Rockford, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2009 in Rockford, IL.
He was born on May 13, 1939 in Mass City, MI, the son of Charles Raymond and Taimi (Pennala) Withrow. He served in the U. S. Air Force from 1957 to 1961. Preceding him
in death were his parents and 2 brothers: William and Roger Dale Withrow. Ken was employed by
Chrysler Plant in Belvidere, IL prior to retiring.
Survivors include 4 brothers: Donald (Nancey) Withrow of Mass City, MI, John (Shirley)
Withrow of Monroe Center, IL, Gerald Withrow of Rockford, ILand Paul Withrow of Rochelle, IL; 4 sisters: Lillian (James) Herdman of Franklin Furnace, OH, LaDonna Maldonado of Dixon, IL, Linda (Michael) Hemmen of Dixon, IL and Elizabeth Planthaber of Dixon, IL; sister-in-law: Sharon Withrow of Rockford, IL and several nieces and nephews..
Services will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Pastor James Herdman officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 PM Saturday, prior to the service. Burial will be at Lawnridge Cemetery in Rochelle. A memorial has been established.
