KIRK I. JOHANNING, 58, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the Rochelle Hospital. Kirk was born on July 6, 1960 to Vincent and Kathleen (Dalberg) Johanning in Richland Center, Wisconsin. He married Sandra Wheeler May 30, 1998 in Rochelle, IL. Kirk was preceded in death by his parents: Vincent Johanning, Kenneth Anderson and Kathleen Johanning-Anderson.

Kirk is survived by his wife, Sandi of Rochelle, three sons: Jason (Yvette) Wheeler of Belvedere, IL, John (Becky) Wheeler of Davis Junction, IL and Nicholas (Laura Weber) Johanning of Denver, CO; daughter, Stacey (Scott) Volkert of Cadet, MO; five brothers: Jerome (Sandy) Johanning, Roger (Patty) Johanning, Eric (Lori) Johanning, Brian Johanning all of Rochelle and John (Sherri) Anderson of Boscobel. WI; sister, Pam Schmidt of Rochelle, IL; grandchildren: Corina Nasca, Kierra, Hailey and Taylor Wheeler, Bailey, Kiristen, Ava and Lainee Volkert, Austen Everest and Emily Wheeler; great grandchildren: Savanah, Frankie and Alivia Nasca and many nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M., Monday, February 25, 2019 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 26 at the funeral home with Chaplain Judy Williams officiating. Burial will follow the service at Trinity Memory Gardens.
