Lenora Allene Pawlak, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at the Rochelle Gardens Nursing Center. She was born on June 11, 1934 in Cape Girardeau, MO, the daughter of Louis and Pauline (Probst) Koechig. Lenora was a homemaker, but she also sold Mary Kay, Avon and worked at the National T, Spurgeon's and Hornsby's Department Store over the years in Rochelle. She loved family gatherings, gardening and going to garage sales. Member of the Faith Lutheran Church of Rochelle. Preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers: Robert, Leo, Llyod, and Eugene Koechig, and 2 sisters: Lucille Lee, and Shirley Paul.

Lenora is survived by her husband Paul Pawlak of Rochelle, 2 children: Steve (Randee) Boll of Dixon, and Theresa (Doug) Hansen of Chappell, NE; 2 step children: Jennifer Pawlak of Texas, and Chris Pawlak of Rockford; 2 sisters: Imogene (Don) Mattson and Mary Ann (Don) Johnson; and 3 grandchildren: Kelsey Boll, Graham Boll and Mathew Hansen.

There will be a private family graveside service at Lawnridge Cemetery at a later date. Unger Horner Funeral Home and Cremation Services assisted the family with their arrangements.
