Leonardo Galvan, mostly known as "Leo", passed away unexpectantly on January 6, 2025.  Leo was born on November 6, 1959 in El Vergel Durango in Mexico to Felipe Galvan and Teodora Granillo. He was the fifth child out of seven children. Leo was a long time resident of Rochelle where he worked at Lagrou for many years and then retired from Master Graphics. He didn't have any children of his own, but he did have many nieces and nephews whom he saw as his children. He's proceeded in death by his father, Felipe Galvan and sister, Maria Luz Saucedo.

He is survived by his mother, Teodora Granillo; five siblings: Rigoberto (Catalina) Galvan, Silvia (Roque) Carrera, Ambrosio (Laura) Galván, Catalina (Gabriel) Villa, and Rosa (Lorenzo) Galván; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm - 9:00pm on Friday, January 10, 2025 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle IL.  Cremation rites will be held after the visitation.
