Obituary
Leroy G. Dummer, age 78, passed away at his home on Friday October 11, 2013. He was born on March 30, 1935 in Rochelle, IL, the son of George and Carrie Heddon Dummer. He was employed at Graphic Arts Express as a truck driver. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Merlin Dummer.
Survived by his children: Randy (Sarah) Dummer of Davis Junction, Steve (Tammy) Dummer of Rochelle, Tom Dummer of Rochelle, Beth (Allan) Kvool of Ashton, and Renea Dummer of Rockford; wife: Mary Dummer of Rockford, 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 from 5 - 8 PM at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th St., Rochelle. Graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at the Arlington Cemetery in Rockford with Chaplain Judy Williams officiating. A memorial has been established.
