Obituary
Leslie "Les" C. Hill, age 58, of Creston, IL, passed away on Friday, Aug. 31, 2007 at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford. He was born on Oct. 30, 1948 in Rochelle, the son of
Arvene Ravnaas and Muriel Grace (Erickson) Hill. His father preceded him in death.
Les was an area farmer.
Survivors include a son: Joseph (Jodi) Hill of Rochelle, a daughter: Rachel (Christopher) Kurn of West Chicago, IL; his mother: Muriel Hill, of Creston, a sister Judith (Thomas) Stecker of Creston and a brother Thomas (Nancy) Hill of Creston, IL
Services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007 at the Calvary Lutheran Church in Lee, IL at 7:00 PM with Pastor Wayne L. Derber . Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 PM at the church. Arrangements and cremation rites are being handled by Unger-Horner Funeral Home. A memorial to be established.
