Lester Eugene Atkinson 72 of Genoa, IL died at home Friday March 2, 2007. He was born in Wayne County, IL on April 8, 1934 the son of William and Inez Cantrell Atkinson. He married Martha White on Aug. 28, 1953.

Lester loved to fish and work on small engines and cars.

23 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lester was preceded in death by his mother and father and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Thursday March 8th at 11:00 a.m. in Unger-Horner Funeral home 400 N. 6th St. Rochelle, IL. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday.
