Lillie M. Justis, 88 of Rochelle; passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2009 at St. Anthony Medical
Center in Rockford. She was born on Dec. 13, 1920 in Ramsey, IL, the daughter of LeRoy B. and Anna M. (Card) McCaslin. Lillie married C. LaVern Justis on April 5, 1946 in Rochelle and he preceded her in death on Feb. 21, 1987. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers: Eugene, Roy and Elmer; and sister: Edna Vandre.

Survivors include 4 children: Karen Rhodes-Jervis and Lex Jervis of Mt. Arlington, NJ; David Justis of Hayes, VA; Debra (Ron) Alde of Palatine, IL; and Steven (Sandy) Justis of Elgin, IL; brother: James (Connie) McCaslin of Auburn, IL; 3 sisters: Mildred McCaslin of Rockford, Rosemary VanKirk of Rochelle and Shirley Rainwater of Lexington, KY; sister-in-law: Monie McCaslin of Dallas, TX; 12 grandchildren: Brenda Alde (Rodney) Toporek, Natasia Justis (Mark) Simeon, Colleen Alde (Robert) Shirley, Nicki Justis (Ed) Truett, Jacqueline Justis, John (Masako) Justis, Katie Justis, Jim (Danielle) Rhodes, Michael Rhodes, Ann Rhodes, Patricia Justis and Paul Justis; and 9 great grandchildren.

Services will be Wed. May 6, 2009 at First Presbyterian Church in Rochelle with Rev. Dr.
John Hamilton at 10:00 AM. Visitation Tuesday, May 5, 2009, from 4 to 8 PM, at Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle. Burial at Lawnridge Cemetery. Memorials to: LaVern Justis
