Linda Ann Daub, age 85, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at the Franklin Grove Nursing Center with her family at her side. She was born on January 20, 1941 in Franklin Grove, the daughter of R. LeRoy and Aletta M. (Eich) Coffman. She married Robert James Daub on October 25, 1959 in Ashton, IL, he preceded her on November 24, 2020. Linda started working at DelMonte, then Morgan Dye Credit Union, Caron International Credit Union, Rock Valley Federal Credit Union, and later retired from NIU in the Payroll Department. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Over the years, she enjoyed camping, knitting, crocheting, and bowling. Linda was active as a 4-H leader, and as a member of Faith Lutheran Church.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant daughter, and sister, Marilyn Primrose.

Survived by her three children: Susan (Steve) Heng of Ashton, Steve (Kristina) Daub of Huntley, IL, and Lisa Daub of DeKalb; six grandchildren, Leslie Heng, Brandon (Jen) Heng, Patrick Johnson, and Anthony, Brian, and Christopher Schlaf; and two great-grandchildren, Mariah Sward and Eliana Powers; three brothers: James (Phyllis) Coffman of Stillman Valley, Wayne Coffman of Rochelle, and Donald (Pat) Coffman of Rockford and many nieces and nephews.

Visitations will be from 4 - 7 P.M. on Friday, October 2, 2026 at the Unger Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th St. Rochelle and also on Saturday at Faith Lutheran Church from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. prior to the memorial service at 10:30 A.M. with Pastor Joy Alsop officiating. Cremation interment will follow at Trinity Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church.
