Linda M. Asbury, age 61, of Oregon passed on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at the Oregon Health Care Center.

Linda was born on August 3, 1948 in Rochelle IL, the daughter of Earl and Lydia Woodrick White. Linda married Johnny Asbury, husband of 41 years, on June 30, 1968 at Faith Lutheran Church in Rochelle. Linda worked as a CNA at the Rochelle Healthcare Center West before retiring. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters: Betty Nutt, Marilyn Morrison, Janet Turner, Maxine Highstreet; and 2 brothers: Frank White and Earl White Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 14, 2009 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Rochelle, with Pastor Gregory Hoffman officiating. A memorial has been established.
