Linda Ann Holder,73,formerly of Rochelle, IL, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2012 in Rockford, IL at her son's home. She was born on Sept. 19, 1938 in Carbondale, IL to Lyndall T. and Anna K. (Evans) Stewart. In 1959, Linda married Edward Holder and he preceded her in death on Dec. 5, 2002. She was preceded by her parents, husband, son: Danny in 1958, son-in-law: Chuck Ellis in 2005, daughter-in-law: Susan Holder 2009, and granddaughter: Barbara Ann Holder in 1991. Prior to retiring, she was employed by Eaton Controls in Rochelle for 27 years and was an avid Chicago Bears fan.

Survivors include: daughters: Cheryl Sanchez of Rockford, and Abbie (Dan Johnson) Ellis of Rochelle; sons: Lynn (Laura) Holder of Rockford, Thomas (Martha) Holder of Ashton, and Robert Holder of Lee Center; 15 grandchildren: Adam, Caycee, Hithum,Troy, B.J., Ryan,
Allie, Robyn, Kaitlynn, T. J., Justin, Heather, Kelly, Kattie, and Eddie; and 5 great grandchildren: Dayton, Tony, Kyler, Micayla and Aaliyah; and brothers: Thomas (Dolly) Stewart of Genoa, IL and Robert (Joy) Stewart of DeKalb, IL.

Services at Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 19, 2012. Visitation at Unger-Horner on Wed. July 18th from 5 to 8 PM. Burial at Trinity Memory Gardens in Rochelle. A memorial is being established.
