Linda K. Jarvis, 80, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon, Illinois. Linda was born on April 13, 1942 in Dixon, IL to Harold and Evelyn (Herwig) Gleim. On January 17, 1959, she married James W. Jarvis in Ashton, IL.

Linda enjoyed golfing, bowling and adored the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her husband of 63 years, James Jarvis of Ashton, IL; son, Doug (Kelly) Jarvis of Ashton; four grandchildren: Derek (Jaime) Jarvis, Danielle (Nick) Melino, Sean Jarvis and Benjamin Jarvis; eight great grandchildren and aunt, Maralan Gleim of Sterling, IL.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey J. Jarvis; granddaughter, Carly Jarvis; great grandson, Maddox Jarvis and sister, Betty Kennay.

The visitation will be from 2:00 - 5:00 P.M., Sunday, November 6, 2022 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Monday, November 7 at Ashton United Methodist Church, 906 Richardson Ave., Ashton with Pastor Jan Shaulis officiating. The burial will follow the service at Ashton Cemetery in Ashton, IL. Memorials may be made in Linda's memory to Serenity Hospice and Home or the Ashton Fire Department.
