Davis Junction

Lisa Diane Holby, 60, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at her home in Davis Junction, Illinois. Lisa was born on September 24, 1962 to Charles R. and Patsy J. (Nash) Turner in Rockford, IL. On August 15, 1987, she married Mitchell Eugene Holby in Rockford.

Lisa was a loving mother and grandmother, who loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed doing a variety of arts and crafts.

Lisa is survived by her daughter, Rebecca (Richard) Owens of Byron, IL; adopted daughter, Tiffany Patton of Loves Park, IL; mother, Patsy Turner of Davis Junction, IL; two daughters-in-law: Amanda Patton and Roseanna Patton both of Rockford, IL; three sisters: Cheryl Ellsworth of Monroe Center, IL, Betty Sheets of Davis Junction, IL and Lynn (Steve) Moore of Lorton, VA; brother, Charles (Chris) Turner of Toledo, OH; brother-in-law, Tony Mathney of Davis Junction, IL; ten grandchildren: Dakota Patton, Sheyanna Schultz, Jacob Patton, Dominic Patton, Xaveriana Cook, Mariah Allen, Cheyenne Owens, Aliyah Patton, Gregory Patton and Jace Roberts; 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Charles; her husband, Mitchel on December 28, 2015; two sons: Douglas and Gregory Patton; sister, Nancy Mathney and brother-in-law, Art Ellsworth.

The visitation will be from 2:00 - 4:00 P.M., Monday, January 16, 2023 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. Cremation care will follow.
