Lisa Renee Shaw, 64, of Lindenwood, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford surrounded by her family. She was born November 14, 1960, in Rockford, the daughter of William and Helen (Seff) Whippler. She married Dennis Lee Shaw on June 25, 1988.

Lisa worked for Sundstrand (later UTC Aerospace Systems) in Rockford for over 30 years. She enjoyed playing softball and was a member of numerous softball teams through work. She enjoyed finishing, cooking, and loved animals. She loved playing fetch with her Grandpup, Scooby, at her country home.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Dennis Shaw; two sons, David Shaw and Brandon (Laura) Shaw; a grandson on the way, Kemper Lee Shaw; five sisters, Sandy (Jim) Clark, Karen Stepanek, Linda Moore, Patricia (Rory) Harrington, and Teresa White; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Lisa is preceded in death by a nephew, Jarrick Franck; brothers-in-law Ron Stepanek and David Dwight Shaw; sister-in-law Susan Ericson; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dwight (Jean) Shaw;

Cremation care has been provided by the Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle. A celebration of life will take place from 1:00-4:00 PM on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the Lombardi Club, 209 Olive Street, in Rockford.
