Obituary

Loren "Marx" Prewett, age 50, of St. Charles, IL, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 28, at Delnor Hospital in Geneva, IL. He was born on July 27, 1956, the son of Loren Elmo "Shorty" and Bonnie (Sublett) Prewett in Rochelle, IL. Marx was employed by Mill Work Direct in St. Charles, IL as a Kitchen Designer. He was preceded in death by his father on Feb. 25, 2004 and by his mother on April 24, 2006.

Survivors include his wife Leita Hooper; a son: Zachary Marx James (Kara Sanders) Prewett of Rochelle; two daughters: Emily Jayne Packard of Steward, IL and Grace Ashley Prewett of Rockford, IL, stepson: Joseph Hooper of Palacios, TX; Six sisters: Patsy Berniece (Fillmore) Hall of Nixa, MO, Eva Jeanett (Charles) Bryant of Rochelle, Bonita Sue Lake and Norma Gay (Ken) Zielske both of Madison, WI, Donna Jean (Glynn) Amburgey of St. Charles, IL and Angela Rose (Mike) Flournory of DeKalb, IL and a grandson: Noah Marx Packard.

Funeral Services will be held at Steward United Methodist Church in Steward, IL on Monday, March 5, 2007 at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Judy Sherk officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday from to 1 to 2 PM. Burial will be at Steward Cemetery in followed by a luncheon at the Steward Fire Dept.
