Lorraine "Laurie" Harris, 63, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015 in Rochelle. Laurie was born February 7, 1952 to Mahlon and Reta (Furman) Meling in Rochelle, IL. She married Reed William Harris on October 23, 1971 in Rochelle, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Joseph Meling and her sister, Jean Porter.

Laurie is survived by her husband, Reed; two children: Nathaniel (Angie) Harris and Lisa (Gale) Coleman both of Rochelle; brother: Craig (Barb) Meling of Watauga, TX; brother-in-law: Robert Porter of Sterling, IL; and four grandchildren: Jesse and Corbin Harris and Clayton and Renae Coleman.

A memorial gathering will be from 2 - 5 P.M., Sunday, January 10, 2016 at the Rochelle VFW.
