Lula M. Schabacker, 86, of Rochelle, IL; passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at her
home. She was born on April 8, 1926 in Clare, IL to Orville F. and Ada M. (Rhodes) Morris.
Lula married Carl Schabacker on Sept. 9, 1944 in Rochelle and he preceded her in death on
Oct. 12, 2011. She was also preceded by 2 sons: William and Rick and brother Harold Morris. Prior to retiring, she was
a secretary for Schultz Manufacturing for 19 years. Memberships include St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her daughter: Ruth (Loren) Furman of Rochelle; sister Kate Carlson of DeKalb; and 5 grandchildren: Dan Furman, Annette Smith,
Ben Schabacker, Rob Schabacker and Tina Hatfield; 4 great grandchildren.

Services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, Aug. 16 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Rochelle.
Visitation will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 9-10:45 AM prior to the service. Burial at Flagg Center Cemetery. Memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
