Lynda C. Rogers, age 63, of Rochelle, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2007 at St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL from complications of luekema. She was born on March 30, 1943 in Galt, Iowa, the daughter of Elmer J. and Lola Ruth (Roberts) Wells. Lynda married Harold L. Rogers on Feb. 8, 1986 in Rochelle, IL.

Lynda was the manager of the New York Bagel and Coffee Exchange in Rochelle and attended the Four
Square Church. She was preceded by a brother: Bud Schonert and a sister: Lola Bender.

Surviors include her husband Harold of Rochelle; 3 sons: David (Susan) Degelau of Ashton;
James Degelau of Kingsville, OH, and Donovan (Laura) Degelau of Stillman Valley; a daughter: Michelle Johnson of Rochelle; step son: Jeff (Connie) Rogers of Rochester, IL and step daughter:
Shelly (Jim) Todd of Florence, SC; 3 brothers: Jim (Rosemary) Schonert of Hathaway Pines, CA,
Don (Maryann) Schonert of Bellview, NE, and Bob Schonert of Cottonwood, AZ; 4 sisters: Lois Martinson of Minneapolis, MN, Barbara Lake of Tuyalluop, WA, Betty Tascau of Stockton, CA and Francis Stockwell of Victorville, CA ; 11 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Services will be held at Unger-Horner Funeral Home on Monday, March 26th at 2:00 PM with
Rev. Ann Erickson officiating. Visitation will be held at Unger-Horner on Sunday, March 25th from 1 to 4 PM. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society. Burial will be at Trinity Memory Gardens.
