M. Wayne Donnelly, age 75 of Rochelle, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2011 at the Pine Acres Nursing Center in DeKalb. He was born on May 10, 1936 in Mount Holly, NJ;
the son of Malcolm Wise and Kathleen "Kitty" Marie (Davis) Donnelly. Wayne married Cynthia Lee Knapp on Oct. 28, 1956 in Torrance, CA. While married with four children and working full time, he attended LeTourneau College in Longview, TX and graduated with honors in 1972 with a degree in mechanical engineering. Wayne also worked with the Christian Service Brigade in Texas; and was a Deacon and Elder of Elim Reformed Church. He and his wife would have been married 55 years this year and he enjoyed helping friends and family fixing cars and tractors.

Prior to retiring, he was a mechanical engineer for A.O. Smith Harvestor in DeKalb. He was preceded by his mother on Aug. 21, 2008, father on Feb. 23, 1975 and daughter-in-law: Shirley Donnelly on April 7, 2010. Memberships include the Elim Reformed Church.

Survivors include his wife: Cynthia of Rochelle; sons: Keith Donnelly of Renton, WA,
Kent (Cindi) Donnelly of Omaha, NE, and Kelly (Sheila) Donnelly of Mount Pleasant, TX and
daughter: Kerry (John) Wisner of Renton WA; 19 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Services are Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Elim Reformed Church in Kings, IL
with Rev. Jerry Dykstra. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the Church. In lieu of flowers: Memorials to Elim Reformed Church or to the Gideons. Burial at White Rock Cemetery in Kings.
