Magdaleno G. Garcia, 65, passed away Friday, January 8, 2016 at his home. Magdaleno was born October 30, 1950 to Jose and Susanna (Granados) Garcia in Mexico City, Mexico. He married Maria Del Carmen on January 2, 1977 in Piedras Negras, Mexico. He worked as a dental technician for many years. He is preceded in death by his sister, Maria Garcia and brother, Gerardo Garcia.

Magdaleno is survived by his wife, Maria, and two sons: Adrian and Andres both of Rochelle; two brothers: Jose (Rosaura) Garcia of Rhode Island and Francisco Garcia of Morelia, Michuacan, Mexico; and two sisters: Victorina (Teodoro) Garcia of Chicago, IL and Edelmira (Refugio) Garza of Eagle Pass, TX.

The family would like to specially thank sister-in-law, Andrea Herrada, niece, Carmen Herrada and his sister, Victorina Garcia.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at St. Patrick Catholic, 236 Kelley Drive, Rochelle with Father Darwin Flores officiating. The visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 12, at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle.
