Maida L. Goff, age 93, of Rochelle, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Alpine Fireside Healthcare Center, Rockford, IL after a long illness. Maida was born on November 10, 1922 in Bluford, IL to Wilbur and Maude (Moore) LeMar. She married James Goff on January 23, 1942 in DeKalb. She was a bookkeeper for her husband's contruction business for many years. Maida enjoyed crocheting, jigsaw puzzles, music, playing cards and Scrabble, all animals and going to the Hub City Senior Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant daughter, two brothers: Owen and Darwin LeMar; one sister, Melba Melton and one nephew.
Maida is survived by two sons: Dan (Karen) Goff of Rochelle and David (Lisa) Goff of Rockford; two grandsons: Scott (Michele) Goff of Yorkville and Michael (Carrie) Goff of Chicago; one great-granddaughter due in September and numerous nephews and one niece.
