Marcia A. Hill, 73, of Rochelle, died on Monday March 12, 2012 in St. Anthony Hospital in Rockford, IL with her daughter by her side. She was born August 30, 1938 in DeKalb, IL the daughter of John and Elizabeth Rambough Diehl. She married Richard Dean Hill on May 12, 1956 in Rankin, IL. He preceded her on Feb. 1, 1995. Also preceded by her parents, 3 sisters: Lois Mongan, Minnie Burke, and Betty Martinson; and her brother: Don Diehl. Marcia was a cook for the Rochelle elementary schools for over 25 years in Rochelle. Then cooked at Rochelle VFW Post 3878.

Survived by her daughter: Kim (Ron) Kessen; 2 sons: James Hill and Guy (Julia) Hill all of Rochelle; sister: Rosie Egland of California; 4 Grandchildren: Jerry (Ashley) Kessen, Stefanie Kessen, and Nolan Kessen; Derek Hill, and Alex Hill; and their mom: Gayla (Dick) Furman all of Rochelle; and expecting a great grandchild, Kamden on April 13, 2012.

Funeral services will be Saturday March 17th at 11:00 a.m. at Unger-Horner Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday from 9 to service time on Saturday. Burial will be in Trinity Memory Gardens Cemetery.
