MARGARET E. FRENCH, age 83, died on Saturday July 28, 2007 at the Rochelle Healthcare Center East. She was born on March 1, 1924 in Tarae Haute, IN , the daughter of John P. and Carrie E. Hornsby Rtizel. She married William E. French Jr. on September 4, 1950 in Haubstadt, IN, he preceded her in death on May 3, 2007. She worked on P47 Bombers at the Republic Aviation in Evansville, IN during WWII, later she worked for Swift and Company of Rochelle. Member of St. Patrick Catholic Church of Rochelle. She was preceded by 3 sisters: Josephine Gansman, Ida Roos, Mary Fibrow.

Survived by 2 daughters: Madonna Tieman of Mt. Morris
Laura (John) Orlikowski of Rochelle
9 grandchildren

Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at St. Patrick Catholic Church of Rochelle with Father David A. Peck officiating.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5 - 7 PM at the Unger Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th ST., Rochelle
