Obituary
Margaret M. Grasty, 94, of Rochelle, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008 at Rochelle Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. She was born on Dec. 7, 1913 in Rochelle the daughter
of Frank J. And Martha W. (Dettman) Woodrick. She was married Tommy Watson who preceded her Oct. 25, 1957. Margaret then married Leo Grasty who preceded her in 1970.
She was also preceded by sisters: Lydia White, Martha Clayton, Erlene Briney and Marion Brenner and 2 brothers: Arthur and Lawrence. She was a cone winder for Caron Int. retiring in 1958 and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Survivors include sisters: Doris Bemis of Rochelle and Edith (Jim) Harper of Ashton, IL; and brother-in-law: Cameron Brenner of Rochelle and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday, Sept. 5, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Unger-Horner Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Hoffmann. Visitation will be from 10 to 11AM on Friday, prior to the service. Burial at Lawnridge Cemetery. Memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
