Margaret "Peggy" L. Jensen, 72, passed away Monday, November 3, 2014 in Rockford, Illinois. Peggy was born May 1, 1942 to James and Margaret "Stanfield" Pettitt in Tuscola, Illinois. She married Marvin Jensen on June 24, 1962 in Tuscola, IL. Peggy was a fitness instructor for the Rochelle Park District for many years.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Marvin, two sons: Brian Jensen of San Louis Obispo, CA and Michael (Joanna) Jensen of Roselle, IL; her brother, James Pettitt of Falls Church, VA and six grandchildren: Michael, Erica and Gunnar Jensen, Connor and Elle Jensen and Michael Gould.

The funeral service will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, November 7, 2014 at the Rochelle United Methodist Church, 709 4th Ave., with Pastor Cindy Marino officiating. The visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M., Thursday, Nov. 6th at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. Burial will follow the service at Lawnridge Cemetery in Rochelle. Memorials may by made to the Rochelle United Methodist Church.
