Margie M. Casey, age 89, formerly of Rochelle, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008 at Franklin Grove Nursing Center in Franklin Grove, IL. She was born on Feb. 4, 1918 in Ramsey, IL, the daughter of William and Bessie (Moreland) Worker. She married Wauna L. Casey on April 22, 1936 in Vandalia, IL and he preceded her on March 27, 1995. Margie was also preceded by two daughters: Janet Herrmann in 2005 and Evelyn Casey in 1965; 4 brothers: Everett, Ora, Roy and an infant brother; a sister: Lottie Piccard and great granddaughter: Cora
Higgs in 2000.

Survivors include 2 sons: Larry (Pat) Casey of Rochelle and Melvin (Marjorie) Casey of Davis Junction, IL; Son-in-law: Dean Herrmann of Rochelle, 9 grandchildren: David Casey, Annette Vogeler, Jennifer Lundin, Monica Casey-Shoemaker, Brian Herrmann, Sheila Berg, Evelyn Musselman, Deana Blevins and Shawn Higgs;
24 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and a brother: Dean (Delores) Worker of Henry, IL.

Services will be held at the Rochelle United Methodist Church with Rev. Brett Todd on Friday, Feb. 1, 2008 at 10:30 AM. Visitation will be held at Unger-Horner Funeral Home from 5 to 8 PM, on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008. Burial will be at Lawnridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers: Memorials can be made to Unity Hospice.
