Marguerite E. Van Hise, 88 of Kings, IL died early Sat. May 25, 2013 at Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon, IL. She was born January 30, 1925 in Rochelle, IL the daughter of Clyde and Clelia Dean Mittan. She married Robert G. Van Hise in Rochelle on Dec. 19, 1948.
Preceded by an infant daughter Kathleen LaRae Van Hise in 1951.
Memberships include Family Campers & Hikers, Good Sams Club of Sterling and the Gulf Stream Club.

Survived by her husband Robert, 2 sons Terry (Teresa) Van Hise of Machesney Park, IL and Ronald Van Hise of Fairwater, WI. 1 daughter Pamela Sue (Robert) Janssen of Minonk, IL
8 Grandchildren Matt Van Hise, Ryan Van Hise, Jason Van Hise, Cami VanDeberg, Jennifer Beard, Ben Janssen, Kim Janssen and Brian Janssen. And 10 Greatgrandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday May 29th at Unger-Horner Funeral Home with Rev. Dave Rogula. Visitation will be Tuesday 5 to8 at Unger-Horner. Burial will be in Lawnridge Cemetery. Memorials established to Serenity Hospice and Home.
