Obituary

Marian K. Beguin, 54, of Rochelle, IL died Aug. 14, 2007 at St. Anthony Hospital as a result of an auto accident in Rochelle. Marian was born August 18, 1952 in LaSalle, IL the daughter of Edward and Betty Widman Metzinger. She married David F. Beguin on June 12, 1976 in Peru, IL.

Marian taught kindergarten for over 20 years in the Creston and De Kalb School Districts, most recently at Wright Elementary School in Malta .
She was a Member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Rochelle.

Marian was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, faithful friend and dedicated teacher. She loved life, cherished family and friends and trusted in God as her loving Savior. She was always ready to challenge a child to seek and wonder and always quick to lend a compassionate hand to those in need.

Preceded in death by her father Edward Metzinger.

Brenda (Russ) Shevokas of Granville, IL
Melissa (Tim) Schlosser of Sycamore, IL

and many special aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M Monday August 20th at St Patrick Catholic Church in Rochelle with visitation Sunday, August 19th, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home 400 N. 6th St. Rochelle,IL

In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.

Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery Rochelle.
