Marie F. Dunahoo, 102, of Lindenwood, IL; passed away on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009, at Rochelle Gardens Care Center. She was born July 26, 1906, in Lindenwood, IL, the daughter of John and Mabel (Reints) Strang. She married Austin I.Dunahoo on Feb. 12, 1926, in Charles City, IA.

Preceding her in death were her husband, her great-grandson, William Vest, four brothers, Willard, Frances, Calvin, and Clarence; and six sisters, Stella Baker, Cora Beck, Edna Beach, Grace Huntley, Edith Hill, and Fern Rittmeyer. Marie was a member of the Lindenwood Union Church.

Survivors include a son, Glen (Wanda) Dunahoo of Loveland, CO; three daughters, Lois (Ray) Jaeger of Lindenwood, Laura Mabel (Milton) Duell and Carol (David) Hegberg of DeKalb, IL; four sisters, Ruth Harrolle of Dixon, Iris Sturgill, Vera McQueen, and Margaret (Melvin) Hoffman of Rochelle, two sisters-in-law, Lorraine Strang of Lindenwood and Ruth Strang of Sunnyside, WA; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at the Union Church of Lindenwood with Rev. Les and Rev. Pat McClelland
on Monday, Jan. 5, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be at 10:00 AM before the funeral service at the Union Church. Burial at Lindenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers: memorials to the Lindenwood Union Church and Cemetery.
