Marie G. Scott, 94 of Tampa, formerly of Rockford, IL passed away December 16, 2011. She and her husband owned Scott's Wyman Street Bakery for 25 years. They retired to Arizona, then Plano, Texas and finally Tampa. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Wilson "Bill" Scott and her sons, Donald and John Scott, her brothers Al and Jim Bunger and her sister Dolly Templeman. Survivors include her daughter Connie Pruitt and her husband Arley E. Johnson of Tampa, her son, Terry Scott and his wife Jenny of Plano, Texas, grandchildren Colleen, Rhonda, Andrea, Brady, and Tiffany and great grandchildren Brandon, Elliott, Parker, Matthew, Rebecca, and Jessica.

Graveside services will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, December 30, 2011 at the Lawnridge Cemetery, Rochelle, Illinois. There will also be a celebration of life with dinner at the Comfort Inn VIP Room at 5:30 PM Friday. Donations may be made in Marie's memory to Suncoast Hospice, Brookside.
