Marilyn L. Rowley 82 of Rochelle died Sunday September 6, 2009 at home. She was born September 21, 1926 in Morrison, IL the daughter of Art and Dorothy (Wagenecht) Janvick. She married Elmer R. Rowley February 13, 1971 in Rochelle, IL

Preceded by her parents and a step-son Randy Rowley and a grandson Charlie Tilton.

Marilyn worked in banking, she worked at First National Bank of Rochelle and retired from the Holcomb State Bank.

Surviving her husband Elmer Rowley, children Virginia (Al) Terviel of Kings, IL, John (Andrea) Fletcher of Rochelle, IL, Fred (Pat) Fletcher of DeKalb, IL, Alan (Sherry) Ankney of Rochelle, IL, Dusty (Anne) Ankney of Rochelle, IL and Galen Ankney of Kings, IL

Step-children Connie (Rich) Rosas of Rochelle, IL, Bonnie (Brian) Smith of Jonesboro, AR, daughter-in-law Lois Rowley of Rochelle, IL and Becky (Tim) Danner of Rochelle, IL.

30 Grandchildren and 40 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday Sept. 8, 2009 at St Paul Lutheran Church with Rev. Gregory Hoffman. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. to service time at the church on Tuesday. The family has asked that memorials be given to Ogle County Hospice. Burial will be in Flagg Center Cemetery.
