Marion Lee Mann, Jr., age 86, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at his home with his loving family at his side. He was born on December 13, 1934 in Fairfield, IL, the son of Marion Lee and Matilda (Heidinger) Mann. Marion served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a very active member of the V.F.W. Post 3878, and the Eastern-Lee Ogle Honor Guard. Marion married Patricia "Patti" Rucker on August 24, 1957 at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Rochelle. Retired from A&B Freight in 2000.
Preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Joan Rosenbaum, and Karen Waters.

Survived by his wife, Patti, 5 children: Martha (Michael) Florence of Mercer, WI, Julie (Mel) Cater of Rochelle, Curt (Heidi) Mann of Rochelle, Jeff Mann of Rochelle, and Jill (Philip) Moore of Winnetka, CA; brother: Frank (Kathy) Mann of Safety Harbor, FL; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5 - 7 pm on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at the Unger Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th St., Rochelle.
Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father Jesus Dominguez officiating. Memorials may be made to VFW Post 3878 or Serenity Hospice. Cremation care has been provided by Unger Horner funeral Home. Military honors provided by the U.S. Air Force and the Eastern-Lee Ogle Honor Guard will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery.
