Marjorie J. Burr, 57, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at home with her family at her side. Marjorie was born on December 11, 1957 in Geneva, IL to Kenneth and Charlotte (Welborn) Peffer. She married Jonathan Edward Burr on June 16, 1979 in Batavia, IL. Prior to retiring, she worked as a telephone operator. Marjorie loved her family, birds and playing her guitar.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Marjorie is survived by her husband, Jack, three children: Daniel (Erica) Burr of Naperville, Mariah Burr of Aurora and Sarah Schlosser of Dixon; three sisters: Elizabeth Talbot of Wisconsin, Janice (Robert) Knudsen of Waterman, IL and Kendra (Robin) DeLage of Long Prairie, MN; five grandchildren: Hannah, Todd and Gregory Schlosser and Alexa and Madeline Burr.

The funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, August 22, 2105 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle, with Pastors Anne and Ken Erickson officiating. The visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Friday, August 21 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Marjorie's memory to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Cremation rites will follow the service.
