Marjorie Ann Keast, 88, passed on to eternal life on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 in Rochelle. Marge was born February 7, 1928 in Ottawa, Illinois to August and Rose (Murray) Helffrich. She worked in the ASC office and courthouse in Ottawa for ten years. She married Arthur D. Keast of Malta, Illinois and they farmed in the Chana area for 42 years. They had three children: Jim, Duane and Linda. In 1991, Marge and Art moved to their farm in the Argyle, Wisconsin area where they farmed for 20 years. They moved to Rochelle in 2011.
Marge is survived by her husband of 60 years, Arthur; two sons: Jim (Pam) Keast of Davis Junction and Duane of Madison, Wisconsin; daughter, Linda (Gerry) Dorazio of Sandwich; two grandchildren: Will and Sam Keast; brother, Austin Helffrich of Ottawa; sister, Mary Duffield of Ottawa and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Donald.
Marge enjoyed camping, her houseplants, gardening, knitting and crocheting, socializing with friends and all other activities involving her family, whom she adored. Marge was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. The family will miss her so much but are comforted by knowing they will be with her again in heaven.
