Marjorie Ann Reed, 80, passed away Monday, September 18, 2017 in the comfort of her home in Rochelle, IL. Marjorie was born to Sherman and Vivian (Knapp) Brickey on September 24, 1936 in Waterman, Illinois. She married Richard J. Reed on July 26, 1954 in Granville, IL. Marjorie worked for General Electric for 25 years where she took great pride in her work. She loved her horses, dogs, cats and being on the farm working with her beloved husband.

Marjorie is survived by her husband, Richard; three children: Patricia (Brian) Bearrows, Donald Reed, and Dennis (Stacy) Reed; sister, Janet Irvine; ten grandchildren: Tiffany Bearrows, Erin Bearrows, Derek Reed, Danielle Reed, Pam Reed, Daniel (Tara) Reed, April Reed, Callie (Josh) Johnson, Lindsey (Jake) Hueber, Christopher Reed and several great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Sherman and Vivian, she is preceded in death by her son, Danny Reed; brother, Dale Brickey; infant brother, Donald Sherman Brickey and sister, Joyce Brickey.

The visitation will be from 11:00 - 11:50 A.M., Friday, September 22, 2017 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle.
