Obituary
Marsha Ann Mahaffey 62 of Rochelle, IL died Friday Jan. 6, 2012 in Serenity Home in Oregon, IL. She was born Dec. 15, 1949 in Indianapolis, IN the daughter of Ben T. and Eula K. Karnes Banton. Preceded by her father and 2 brothers Wayne and Donald Banton.
Marsha worked for Caron International in Rochelle until the closing of the plant.
She is survived by Mike Mahaffey of Ashton, IL, her mother Eula Hinsey of Brazil, IN and 3 daughters: Heather Bialas and LaShawn "Shawnee" Meltzer both of Rochelle and Candace (Jason) Hill of Sullivan, Wi. Brother Philip Banton of Rochelle and sister Sandy (Bob) Matlock of Brazil, IN.
Seven Grandchildren: Rachael, Ayana, Raven & Brittany Hill, Alexis and Mackenzie Bialas and Addyson Newlin.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wed. Jan. 11, 2012 at Unger-Horner Funeral Home. With visitation 1 hour prior to service. Burial will be in Lawnridge cemetery. Memorial established to the family.
