Marvin K. Terviel, 69, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at the Rochelle Community Hospital. Marvin was born June 18, 1944 to Kriene and Eda (Hayenga) Terviel in Rochelle, Illinois. He proudly served our nation in the U.S. Army. Marvin married Diane Harrolle on July 1, 1978 in Kings, IL at the Elim Reformed Church. He has been a farmer his entire life. He loved to bowl and was an avid sports fan, especially of the Chicago White Sox. Marvin was a lifetime member and past deacon of the Elim Reformed Church . He is preceded in death by his parents and a special aunt, Alma Bachman.

Marvin is survived by his wife, Diane, son, Michael (Chasity Nance) Harrolle of Polo, three grandchildren: Devin, Drake and Storm Harrolle and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 11, 2014 at the Elim Reformed Church, 104 S. Church Rd., Kings, IL with Pastor Jerry Dykstra officiating. The visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M., Thursday, April 10 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6 th St., Rochelle. Burial will follow the funeral at White Rock Cemetery in Kings. A memorial is established.
