Rochelle

Mary Louise Davis, 82, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, Illinois. Mary was born on September 6, 1940 to James "Jeff" J. and Dorothea "Dot" M. (Wirth) Allen in Rockford, IL. On July 20, 1963, she married Donald E. Olson, who predeceased her on March 24, 1987. She later married John "Jack" R. Davis on June 23, 1990 in Rochelle. He preceded her in death on December 8, 2001. She was also preceded in death by an infant brother, James Henry Allen.

Mary is survived by her three children: Mike (Lynne) Olson of Rockford, IL, Holly (Bill) Kubale and Kate (Dave) Friestad both of Rochelle; brother, David Allen of Rochelle; two sisters: Lynn (Matthew) Biros of San Diego, CA and Joan Allen of Weston, CT and six grandchildren: Grace, Michaela (Ronald Keller) and Ian Olson, Max Kubale and Ryan and Addison Friestad.

Mary always considered her children and grandchildren to be her greatest accomplishment and biggest source of joy.
