Mary "Diane" McBride, 72, of Rochelle, IL passed away April 20, 2012 at Saint Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL. Diane was born July 23, 1939 in Marseilles, IL the daughter of Lester and Frances (Renz) Wolford. She attended Rochelle Township High School. Diane married Frederick McBride Jan. 20th 1957 in Rochelle. Diane was a Homemaker and secretary/co. owner of Rochelle Plumbing and Heating for 26 years. She was a member of the Unger-Horner Funeral Home bowling team for 30 years. Diane enjoyed many things including playing Bingo and especially spending time with her kids and grand-kids.

She was predeceased by her parents and one brother: Robert (Nancy) Wolford.

Diane was survived by her husband: Fred McBride of Rochelle; son: Fred Jr. (Sue) McBride of Rochelle; daughters: Peggy Simpson of Rochelle and Pam (Don) Engelking of Rockford; son-in-law: Jon Simpson of PawPaw, IL; brother: Ron (Nancy) Wolford of Rochelle; grandchildren: Jim Hook, Amy (Jeremy) Yates, Melissa and Fred D. McBride, Jaclyn, Christopher and Megan Simpson; great-grandchildren: Austin, Blake, Jacob, Owen and Jimmy; special friend: Jean MacTaggart of Rochelle.

Funeral service will be held Wed. Apr. 25, 2012 at 10:30 AM at the St. Patricks Catholic Church in Rochelle. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Tues. Apr. 24 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle. Memorial to be established.
