Mary Jean Morgan, 71, of Steward, IL, passed away on Wed. Feb. 11, 2009 at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford. She was born on Aug. 8, 1937 in Sandwich, IL, the daughter of William and Helen (Neuhauser) Morris. Preceded by her father Wi8lliam and brother Bob Morris.

Mary married JR Morgan on Nov. 2, 1989 in Oregon, IL. She had previously been employed by Rochelle Community Hospital in food service.

Survivors include her husband, "J.R."of Steward; Mother, Helen Morris of Rochelle, 2 step sons: Greg Morgan of Amboy, IL and Gary (Bobbi) Morgan of Steward, IL; 2 step daughters: Julie (Dan) McLaughlin of Princeton, IL and Terri (John) Wells of Byron, IL; grandchildren: Amanda, Angel and Jeremy Knight, Makaela and Hannah McLaughlin, Nicole Wells and Nicole Soltas; a great granddaughter: Emma Taylor. A Very Special dog, Sammy.

Services will be held at Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St. Rochelle, on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be at Unger-Horner on Monday, Feb. 16th from 4 to 7 PM.
