Mary Inez Pande, 74, of Steward, Illinois, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026, at Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb, Illinois.

Mary was born on September 20, 1951, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Gilbert and Darlene (Brahy) Henningsen. She married the love of her life, Dennis Pande, on December 2, 1973, in Marathon, FL , and together they shared more than 52 years of marriage.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis Pande of Steward, Illinois; her son, Russ (Stephanie) Pande of Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin; her daughter, Heather (Dave) Pande-Farley of Louisville, Kentucky; her grandchildren: Alexandra Pande and Julian Pande; her brother, Peter Henningsen of Seattle, Washington; her sisters: Martha (Ron) Latelle of Hanover Park, Illinois, and Marie (John) Dixon of Winfield, Illinois; and many beloved nieces and nephews, including Christian (Krista) Henningsen, Craig Henningsen, Ginger Latelle, John (Brittany) Dixon, Jeff (Melissa) Dixon, and Jennifer (Andrew) Byrne.

Mary was especially cherished as a great-aunt to Molly, Maggie, Johnny, Liam, and Mila Dixon and Hope, Haven, and Hallie Byrne.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Darlene Henningsen, and her brothers: Gilbert Henningsen Jr. and Paul Henningsen.

Mary will be remembered as a sweet, kind, and loving woman whose faith was central to her life. She loved Jesus deeply and is now at peace with her Lord and Savior.
