Mary Ann Frkol Finn, 62, of Rochelle West Nursing Home died Aug. 19, 2008, in the home, following a long struggle with multiple sclerosis.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Patrick Catholic Church, Rochelle.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday in Unger-Horner Funeral Home, Rochelle and from 9 a.m. until the time of services Friday in the church.
She was born July 6, 1946, in La Salle to Joseph and Maxine (Pistono) Frkol of La Salle.
She graduated from Illinois State University and taught in Spring Valley and Rochelle.
She was a member of St. Patrick's Church and was responsible for starting the "green hand" symbol when she lived in Princeton.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph Finn of Rochelle and Gene Finn of London, England; one grandson, Michael Finn; her mother, Maxine Frkol of La Salle; and one brother, Michael Frkol of La Salle.
She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, James Frkol.
Memorials may be directed to the donor's choice.
