Maude Gertrude Feltner, 87, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2013 in Rochelle. She was born February 9, 1926 in Vandale, AR to Earl and Gertie (Worley) Banton. Maude married William Feltner Jr. on July 13, 1946 in Vandale, AR. She was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Rochelle. Maude retired from Wal-Mart as a greeter.

Maude was preceded in death by her husband, William on September 13, 1984, her brother, J.B. Banton and three sisters: Jean Moore, Elizabeth Peeler and Margaret Phillips.

She is survived by her son, William "Dan" (Mary Lou) Feltner III of Rochelle; her daughter, Cindy Feltner of Rochelle; her brother, Richard (Lois) Banton of Wynne, AR; two sisters: Agnes (Tony) Pavone of Rockland, Maine and Bobbie Moore of Memphis, TN; four grandchildren: Adam (Susan Vogt) Feltner, Nicholas (Connie Schmidt) Buck, Jennifer (Jared Hill) Miller and Missy (Eric) Gruben and 4 great grandchildren: Coral and Whitney Miller and Ethan and Mallory Gruben.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at the First General Baptist Church in Rochelle. The visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., Monday, August 12, 2013 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. Burial will be at the Vandale Cemetery in Wynne Arkansas 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 15. The family requests memorials to the First General Baptist Church or the American Lung Association.
