Michael David Czaplinski, age 24, died on Sunday, December 30 in California. He was born on July 28, 1994 in Rockford, IL, the son of Alex and Eva Czaplinski. Michael was a 2012 Rochelle Township High School graduate, and currently residing in California.
Michael had a big heart and was passionate about helping others. He loved to create art and music and enjoyed being surrounded by nature.
Survived by his Parents: Alex and Eva Czaplinski of Rochelle, 3 siblings: Agnes (Shiloh) Rhodes of Rochelle, Simon Czaplinski of New York, and Adam Czaplinski of Rochelle; and his niece Alexis and nephew Maddox.
Visitation will be on Monday January 7th from 4 to 6:30 pm at the Unger Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th St., Rochelle.
