Obituary
Mildred A. Gunning, 91 of Rochelle, passed away on Wed. April 15, 2009 at Franklin Grove
Nursing Center. She was born on Jan. 10, 1918 in Havre, MT, the daughter of Charles and Rebecca (Williams) Campbell. Mildred married Alexander S. Gunning on Oct. 19, 1946 in Chicago and he preceded her in death on August 31, 1997.
Survivors include a daughter: Cindy Tumminaro of Rochelle; 3 sons: Clifford (Lois) Gunning of Dixon, IL, Michael (Bernice) Gunning of Butternut, WI and Alexander (Veronica) Gunning Jr. of West Palm Beach, FL; 3 grandchildren: Mandy Tumminaro, Michelle Gunning and Greg Gunning; 2 great grandchildren: Ashley and Zachary Gunning; and a sister: Florence Bogut of
Seattle, WA.
Memorial services will be held at Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle, on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at 10:00 AM. Inurnment will be at Lawnridge Cemetery in Rochelle.
