MILTON C. REINECK, age 87, of Rochelle died on November 4, 2008 at the Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. He was born on August 14, 1921 in Reedsville, WI, the son of Herman and Hazel Hagenow Reineck. He married Hester L. Frye on December 16, 1950 in Oregon, IL. Milton served in the US Army during WWII and is a member of the V.F.W. Post 3878. He worked in the farm shop at DelMonte then at Swift retiring when the plant closed. He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers: Ray, Wayne, and Hollace; and 4 sisters: Audrey, Beulah, Harriet and La Verne.

He is survived by his wife Hester of Rochelle

Funeral will be held at 10 AM on Friday, November 7, 2008 at the Unger Horner Funeral Home, 400 N 6th St., Rochelle with the Rev. Greg Hoffman officiating.

Visitation will be from 5 - 8 PM on Thursday, November 6, 2008.

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials to Ogle County Hospice.

Burial at the Lawnridge Cemetery with military services provided by the V.F.W. Post 3878.
