Domingo Contreras, 44, of Rochelle went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jan. 19, 2007. Mingo was born Sept. 18, 1962 in Natalie, TX the son of Jose and Guadalupe Contreras. Mingo married Jennifer Turner on Oct. 1, 1994 in Rochelle. Mingo was a heavy equipment operator, and was currently employed by Thorne Electric.
Mingo's love for his Lord was evident to all who knew him. His family and friends knew how much he loved and cared for them, as he was always willing to give of himself in any way that he could. He faithfully served at Crossroads Community Church. Through the years he and Jennifer enjoyed riding his various Harleys.

Survived by Wife: Jennifer Contreras of Rochelle,Children: Dante, and Solana. Son: Sonny Contreras of Racine, WI. Granddaughter: D'Ajah Contreras of Racine,WI.

A funeral service will be held at Crossroads Community Church Rt. 251 N. Rochelle 10 am Wed. Jan. 24, 2007.
A visitation will be held Tues. Jan. 23, 4-8 pm at Crossroads Community Church in Rochelle. In lieu of flowers: a memorial has been established for Mingo's children, Solana and Dante Contreras.
