Myra Ellen Bishir-Olson, 70, of Bozeman, formerly of Rochelle, passed away on July 28, 2023.

Myra was born on September 24, 1952, in Rochelle, IL to Myron and Margaret (Graf) Davis. She was brought up in Rochelle, graduated from Rochelle Township High School in 1971 and then attended Robert Morris College.

Myra was married to John Greene, Ralph Bishir and Brent Olson.

She always enjoyed a visit to Caviar Lake Lodge in Canada. Her parents obtained the camp when Myra was only six years old. She loved motorcycles, fishing, her pets and her family. Often, she would crochet blankets for them, but their fondest memories are of the Christmas parties she hosted where they would play dice games. She worked as a bartender at the Owl Bar in Livingston, and the Filling Station VFW and Haufbrau in Bozeman.

Myra will be missed by all that knew her but especially her son, Benjamin James Greene; sister, Margaret "Peg" Allison; and former husband, Brent Olson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Myron and Margaret (Graf) Davis; sister, Patricia Sanderson; and husband, Ralph Bishir.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 23, 2023 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 244 Kelley Drive, Rochelle with Father Robert Gonnella officiating. There will be a visitation prior to the service from 9:00 - 10:00 A.M., Saturday at the church. Burial will follow the service at Woodlawn Cemetery in Creston, IL.  Memorials may be made in Myra's memory to the charity of donator's choice.
